Disrespect? Wizkid pokes fun at Don Jazzy, calls him an influencer

Wizkid woke up on Monday morning and chose violence as he dragged anyone whom he didn't endorse.

However, he sparked a controversy on social media after involving Don Jazzy in his twar against rapper Ladipoe.

A Twitter user asked the Essence hitmaker to share Ladipo, "Wizkid Ladipo still talk nonsense yesterday o, Abeg enter that one too."

The music star dropped a tweet that was an indirect shade to Don J, as he claimed that the rapper is signed to an influencer.

"Lol, never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next," reads Wizzy's response.

Social media users were divided over Wizkid's tweet, while some perceived it as a light statement, others slammed him for disrespecting the music legend - Don Baba J.

Meanwhile, people dug out an old award organised by Pulse Nigeria, where the media company awarded Don Jazzy the Best Music Influencer.

What's your take on Wizkid's behaviour?

Ruger drags his former record label Jonzing World, months after announcing his exit.

The Nigerian artist has gone independent and he’s used social media to express his hurt.

Taking to Twitter, he ranted and called out the label in a series of tweets.

As much as I’m very appreciative of the fact that Jonzing world introduced me to the world, I just couldn’t continue with them because they got too comfortable with the money they were making from me and couldn’t push me further as I wanted to be pushed,” he said.

“Was supposed to renegotiate the contract but I couldn’t imagine 5 years more without action. Dey use my money Dey fund new artist, leaving me in the dark, not being transparent. I just laugh, how e be now? I complained, I got angry, some people tell me say no be so dem Dey do things.

Davido reacts to rumors of being arrested

Davido reacts to reports of being allegedly arrested.

The Nigerian musician released a statement in response to the rumor, which he labelled a false report.

The Gobe crooner frowned against the rumor and promised to take legal action.

Read the full statement below:

Fam, it has come to my attention that false reports regarding an arrest circulated online on April 1st, which has since led to a barrage of calls. I want to assure my fans that these reports are entirely untrue.

I successfully completed my schedule shows in Uganda and Kenya and have since returned home to Nigeria.

I'd also like to note that I have never been arrested by anyone in any country for any crime in the world. Not my home Nigerian, my home America, or any of the hundreds of countries I've made home throughout my career.

I find the fabrication of allegations of such international crimes extremely irresponsible regardless of the light of "April Fools", and my lawyer is seeking legal recourse against the media parties responsible for generating this misinformation.

Thank you for your continued support. Our blessings are from God. I love you all."
