Artist Verification: A Better Way To Sign The Contract

Considering the feedbacks we got on the Artist verification, we decided to introduce a better way to sign the Song sales  contract. This way you can easily sign your contract online. You also get to share the contract with a 3rd party who serves as your witness. Your witness will also be able to sign the contract online. No more getting held up at the contract stage! Here is a guide on how to sign the contract. You’re going to see that it’s pretty easy. 

Step 1 

After filling in your details in the personal information page, click on Next to go to the Contract page. Fill in the name and email of the person you wish to use as your witness. It is advisable you inform your witness before dropping their details.

Step 2

Click on Request Contract. Check the details well before submitting as you will not be able to edit after you request contract. You’ll see a pop-up telling you to check your email for the contract. 

Please fill in the full name of your witness. Do not use initials. The first and the last name must be written in full, and correctly. 

Step 3 

Check your mail -the email address you used in registering. Click on the View and Sign icon, and you’ll be redirected to the contract signing site.

Step 4 

Kindly go through the contract to be sure you agree with the terms. After that, enter your address in the column provided and sign in the signature generator column. Your address and the address of your witness must be written in full. It should contain the house number, street name, bus-stop, city and state. If any of you is outside Nigerian, please put your country of residence. 

You can do this on your Phone or Tablet. You can try the signature as many times as you want. When you arrive at the perfect representation, then click on Sign.

Your signature will be accepted and you’ll be asked to click on Sign again to confirm that you are willing to abide by the terms of the contract. This is when your signature then gets appended to the contract. 

You’ll be notified that you have signed the contract. You will also be notified when your witness signs the contract. Please remind them to do it as soon as possible. The process is the same for your witness also. 

And it’s just a matter of hours before your account is verified by the Admin. You will be notified via email when you have been verified. And if there is any correction you need to make before being verified, you will be notified via email. But make sure you fill all your informations correctly before submitting. Any mistake with the name or address renders the contract invalid. You and your witness will have to sign a new contract with the correct details. Verify before you submit!
