Adekunle Gold's 'Afro Pop Vol 1.' turns 4 |
Adekunle Gold is in his feelings as he celebrates the 4th anniversary of his Afro Pop Vol. 1 album.
The music project was released in 2020 when a majority of musicians were clouded with darkness due to the global lockdown.
The Nigerian musician was able to deliver magic despite the complaints that made headlines from other musicians.
Taking to social media this Wednesday, Gold announced that the album is 4 years old, and he's grateful as it transformed his life.
"Four years ago today, I took the biggest leap of my career and created Afro Pop Vol 1. It was a journey filled with fear and uncertainty, but it transformed my life in ways I couldn't have imagined. Today, I am deeply grateful for taking that risk and believing in my vision," he tweeted.
